PBA Local 383 represents the Detectives, Sergeants, and Lieutenants of the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice.

As New Jersey's top law enforcement agency, the Division is charged with the responsibility to detect, enforce, and prosecute the criminal business of the State, and to provide oversight and coordination within New Jersey's law enforcement community.

Our members work to ensure the safety and security of all New Jersey residents and visitors.

PBA Local 383 is comprised of three collective bargaining units representing our various ranks:

• 383 - Detective Trainee, Detective 1, Detective 2

• 383A - Non-Commissioned Officers Association - Sergeant

• 383B - Superior Officers Association 383B - Lieutenant
